Forskning

Att arbeta mer kollaborativt med robotar eller byta ut material i produkter och därmed identifiera vilket produktionssystem och/eller produktionsteknik som är mest lämplig är nya möjligheter som företag idag möter.

Kerstins forskning fokuserar på hur man kan öka automationsgraden flexibelt och industriellt lönsamt. Nya möjligheter att samverka säkert mellan människa och robot i kollaborativa arbetsuppgifter och nya produktionsteknologier ger nya krav på hur man som produktionstekniker samverkar med en produktutvecklingsprocess. Målet med forskningen är att överbrygga gapet mellan akademisk forskning och industriell nytta, genom samverkan kopplat till automation, produktionsutveckling och industrialisering med målet att gemensamt utveckla kunskap som bidrar till framtida konkurrenskraft.

Biografi

Kerstin Johansen har en doktorsexamen i Monteringsteknik från Linköpings universitet, en civilingenjörsexamen i Teknisk Fysik från Uppsala universitet och en docentur inom Integrerad Produkt- och Produktionsutveckling från Linköpings universitet. Kerstin har mer än 10 års industriell erfarenhet.

Kerstin har haft uppdrag inom såväl utbildning och administration som ledning och forskning, och ingår i både nationella som Europeiska nätverk med fokus på samverkan för industriell nytta. 2019 blev Kerstin biträdande professor inom Produkt- och Produktionsutveckling vid Jönköping University och därmed forskningsledare för gruppen Produktionsutveckling.

Verksamheten inom Produktionsutveckling arbetar för att skapa kunskap kring utveckling av framtidens produktionssystem. Fokus ligger på hela kedjan från produktionsstrategi till implementering av produktionssystem och dess produktionstekniska lösningar. Avgörande kunskaper för att hantera den industriella kravbilden inkluderar produktionsberedning, förändringsförmåga, rekonfigurerbarhet, automation, samt förmåga att nyttja den ökade mängden tillgänglig digital information.
