Duncan´s research interests include corporate social innovation, sustainable entrepreneurship and corporate responsibility. At JIBS he is involved in teaching courses in the areas of corporate social responsibility, creativity and business ethics.

Biography

 
Duncan was born in Scotland, but has lived for many years in Latin America and southern Africa. Since 2001 he is resident in Sweden.
 
In addition to studies in Science, Technology and Society (STS), Duncan has studied theology and cross-cultural communication. Much of his post-graduate education has been done in the work-place, for example: his MSc in Human Resource Management and Training (University of Leicester) - and courses in Project Management (University of London) and Change Leadership (Jönköping School of Engineering).
 
Duncan has spent much of his working life in non-profit, church-based organisations, both in southern Africa (primarily Moçambique) and in Sweden. In these contexts he has primarily been active as a change agent: assisting in the founding and development of organisations, and in the training and development of leaders.
