Roaa Salim’s research interest lies in manufacturing strategy domain with focus on automation decisions in the context of the Swedish wood products industry. She examines on what basis automation decisions are made and how those decisions affect other strategic decision areas in manufacturing.
Roaa Salim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in product development and design. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Production Systems with specialization in Production Development and Management from the School of Engineering, Jönköping University. Roaa graduated in June 2014 and was admitted to doctoral studies within the graduate school ProWOOD in November the same year.
