Mattias Jacobsson

Mattias Jacobsson (PhD) is an Associate Professor of Management and works part-time as a researcher at the School of Engineering in Jönköping, Sweden. His main research interests include projects, practices, and the digitalization of the construction industry. He has received the Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence on four occasions. For three consecutive years (2022, 2023, and 2024), he was also awarded Best Conference Paper at ARCOM (Association of Researchers in Construction Management). In addition, Jacobsson has received a teaching award and holds the title of Distinguished Teacher. 

His work has been published in a large number of journals, including Engineering, Construction and Architectural Management, Business Horizons, Management Decision, Project Management Journal®, Services Marketing Quarterly, International Journal of Project Management, Creativity and Innovation Management, the International Journal of Managing Projects in Business, and Construction Management and Economics.
