Lärandemål

Upon completion of the course, the student should have the ability to:

  • describe and critically assess the method of a systematic literature review
  • discuss the implications of evidence-based knowledge for occupational therapy.

  • apply a systematic literature review method.

  • critically review and evaluate own achievements, and identify one’s own development needs with respect to scientific method and argumentation.

Undervisningsformer

The course is given as a web-based course. Learning activities include lectures, seminars, practical exercises, and group discussions.

Förkunskapskrav

Kandidat eller yrkesexamen om minst 180 hp med lägst 90 hp i huvudområdet arbetsterapi inklusive ett avslutat examensarbete om minst 15 hp eller motsvarande.

Examination och betyg

Kursen bedöms med betygen A, B, C, D, E, FX eller F.

Examination of the course objectives is based on a systematic literature review (consisting of a written pair or small group assignment as well as participation in a mid-course seminar which includes oral critical review of literature), critical review of a systematic literature review (consisting of an individually written opposition of fellow students’ assignment) and a reflection of one’s learning outcomes and learning needs (consisting of an individually written reflection report).
