As a Health and Welfare student, you’ll be working with people from diverse backgrounds — locally and globally. CIM (Certificate of Intercultural Merits) helps you build the intercultural competence essential for today’s healthcare and social work environments.
Whether you’re staying in Sweden or going abroad, CIM lets you shape your own intercultural journey. Choose from JU’s activities or create your own — on campus, off campus, or overseas. You do what suits you best!

- Complete activities and upload your evidence in your portifolio.
- Earn points — reach 100 and get awarded CIM at graduation!

- your name & surname,
- study programme
- the semester you are currently enrolled in.
CIM staff will provide you with the access to Canvas. In Canvas you will find the introduction and all information needed to suceed with CIM.
