Triple Crown – Three International Accreditations
JIBS is part of an exclusive group of just over 100 business schools worldwide that hold the prestigious Triple Crown status. This means we are accredited by the three leading international accreditation bodies in the field:
- AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)
- EQUIS (EFMD Quality Improvement System)
- AMBA (Association of MBAs)
Only about 1% of business schools worldwide have achieved all three accreditations. This is a strong indication of the quality of our education, research, and external engagement – and it reinforces our position as a globally respected business school.

EQUIS
EQUIS, operated by EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development), is a leading European accreditation that evaluates overall school quality, long-term sustainability, and commitment to continuous improvement. EQUIS accreditation is often a prerequisite for inclusion in global rankings.
AACSB

AACSB is the oldest and one of the most recognized accreditations for business schools. It signals excellence in teaching, research, and educational development, and serves as global recognition of long-term quality assurance.
AMBA
AMBA evaluates the quality of MBA, DBA and master’s programmes. Only programmes that demonstrate excellence in teaching, learning outcomes, career development, employability, and engagement with students, alumni and employers are accredited.
Rankings
Unlike accreditations, which ensure quality standards, rankings compare schools based on a range of criteria such as alumni career development, programme content and international outlook.
FT ranking
The Financial Times (FT) conducts annual rankings compare schools basedona rangeof criteria. These critera include alumni career development, programme content, and international outlook. Rankings are highly regarded and based in part on alumni feedback and career outcomes.
Since 2021, JIBS has been featured in:
- FT European Business School Ranking – ranked among the top 95 in Europe
- FT Masters in Management – ranked among the top 100 globally
Sustainability and Responsibility
JIBS is strongly committed to sustainability and social responsibility in both education and research.
Environmental diploma
We are certified according to Svensk Miljöbas (the Swedish Environmental Base) and hold an environmental diploma awarded by the Municipality of Jönköping. This confirms our active implementation of a structured environmental management system.
PRME – UN Principles for Responsible Management Education
We are also a proud signatory of PRME, a UN initiative that promotes the integration of sustainability and social responsibility into leadership education. At JIBS, we equip future leaders to balance economic goals with sustainable development, in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
