Anettes forskning fokuserar på innovation och entreprenörskap i etablerade företag, särskilt i sammanhang som kännetecknas av osäkerhet. De viktigaste teoretiska områdena inkluderar dynamic capabilities; beslutsfattande; effectuation och ambidexteritet. Anettes forskningsprojekt är vanligtvis i samverkan med näringslivet, för närvarande är hon engagerad i ett projekt om innovationsförmåga bland små- och medelstora tillverkningsföretag och ett annat om digital innovation i tidningsbranschen. Anette har en doktorsexamen i företagsadministration från JIBS (2014) och arbetade tidigare med marknadsföring inom B2B- och B2C-branscher. Hon har erfarenhet som lärare och forskare vid Tekniska Högskolan och vid JIBS. Hon är förnärvarande främst engagerad i uppdraget som Associate Dean of Faculty vid JIBS.
