Who should have a JU Card?

If you are a student or a member of staff at Jönköping University with an active user account you should have a JU Card.


I am a distance learner without obligated meetings on campus, do I need a JU Card?

No. The JU Card functions can only be utilized on campus.


How long can I use the card?

You can use the card as long as you actively study at or are a member of the staff at Jönköping University. Keep your card if you take a break in your studies, the card can be re-activated when you come back.

How often do I have to update my JU Card?

All students must update the JU Card each semester after they've registered so that the period of validity on the card is extended.


Do I have to pay for the JU Card?

The JU Card is free of charge to students. If you lose your JU Card, you will be charged a fee of SEK 150. The fee should be paid at the Service Center, where the staff will help you.


I have forgotten/want to change my PIN

I don't have access to all premises

If you don't have access to certain rooms, contact your program coordinator.


I can't borrow books at the University Library with my JU Card

Contact the Information desk at the University Library.

My JU Card doesn't work at the printers/photo copiers
