BankID for activation and password reset

BankID is now finally available as a choice when activating your user account or if you have forgotten your password. Quick and easy!

Anyone who is activate an account at JU and who has a Swedish social security number can use BankID as a verification method. One of the advantages of using BankID is that you immediately get a verified account (which for Swedish students will be required to log into Ladok, among other things). The activation is done at the page ju.se/activation External link, opens in new window. and the option BankID. Students can usually activate their account one week before the roll call, and other account types, e.g. staff and external users, can activate their account after placing an order via the form on the Intranet (Service and support -> IT -> Order or manage user account Opens in new window.) and the IT department has verified that the account is ready for activation.

BankID can also be used by people with a Swedish social security number who have forgotten their password, via the page passwordreset.ju.se External link, opens in new window..
