VDI
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) is a technical solution for running applications without being installed locally on the computer. The software runs on a server and are accessible through a virtual desktop. You log in with your Jönköping University user account.
Who can use VDI on JU

How do I get started with VDI?
Teachers are responsible for distributing a code and instructions to the students who are entitled to connect to the VDI. Using this, the student applies for access via Microsoft’s My Access portal External link, opens in new window. and then automatically receives access for 180 days. After that, the student needs to apply again with a new code. The code will be replaced every semester.
How to apply

- Go to: https://vdiaccess.ju.se
(The link will take you directly to the application page for VDI access) - Log in with your JU account if prompted
Step 2 – Read the information and proceed
- Read the information and click Continue. Ignore the “Share link” button.
Step 3 – Enter the access code
