Accomodation:

The cost for accomodation is 250 EURO for participants, including single room, breakfast, lunch and dinner and two social events during the week.

We will all stay at campus Gränna, in the small town of Gränna, located close to the eastern shore of Lake Vättern, about 30 minutes från Jönköping. Gränna is famous for the breathtaking scenery, pitoresque atmosphere and traditional Peppermint Rock Canes. There are good connections with buses between Gränna and Jönköping. Accomodation is open to students and contributors only. There will be no additional cost for the conference. 

We are happy to present the 7th ECADOC Summer School within the field of Career Guidance and Counselling, under the broad and inclusive theme Lifelong guidance in contexts of lifelong learningExploring effects and implications for career guidance and counselling in an age of uncertainty.

We welcome applications for the 7th ECADOC Summer School in Career Guidance and Counselling, held in Gränna and Jönköping, Sweden between the 8-12 June 2020. The Summer School is hosted and sponsored by the School of Education and Communication of Jönköping University in Sweden, within the frame of the research school and in collaboration with ENCELL, the Swedish National Centre for Lifelong Learning. Dr. Ingela Bergmo Prvulovic, at Jönköping University will be the coordinating host of the Summer School.

More specific information about the programme, readings for the event, instructions for participation, seminars and tasks, will be provided soon, as well as specific information about accommodation and costs.

Funding:

We encourage students and contributors to apply for ERASMUS funding to cover travelling costs and accommodation. Students apply for Staff mobility for training. Contributors apply for Staff mobility for teaching.

In 2019, the ECADOC summer school was hosted by Ronald Sultana (Director, Euro-Mediterranean Centre for Educational Research) at University of Malta. Twenty-two PhD students from 17 countries were selected as participants to present their research projects, network, and discuss future innovative research collaborations.
