Marie Ernsth Bravell appointed Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America

Marie Ernsth Bravell, vice president for research at Jönköping University, was 2017 appointed to Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America (GSA), the world's oldest and largest interdisciplinary organisation in aging research.

A GSA Fellowship is an acknowledgment of excellent work in the area of Gerontology. Since no annual GSA conference was held in 2017, Marie Ernst Bravell was awarded the honorable diploma at the 2018 conference in Boston.

"Becoming a fellow in GSA is an honor and an acknowledgment of my gerontological work. I am very proud and happy and I wish to give my colleagues at the Institute for Gerontology part of the recognition. It’s a great research environment to work in!” says Marie Ernsth Bravell
