Amjad Almusaed editor-in-chief of a book on sustainable cities
Amjad Almusaed, Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering (JTH), Jönköping University (JU), is the editor-in-chief of the book "Sustainable Housing". It analyzes problems and opportunities in creating sustainable cities and finding new solutions in urban environments.
Researchers from 21 universities around the world have contributed to the book, which contains the latest research on sustainable housing. It is a new open access, peer-reviewed knowledge collection that is indexed in the WEB of sciense. Amjad Almusaed is the main author of two chapters in the book as well as editor-in-chief and reviewer.
International experts analyze the importance of sustainable housing and the book also addresses practical cases and previous experience on that topic.
“Sustainability has become the driving factor for the creation of new cities. It starts with legislation and ends with the design of housing,” says Amjad Almusaed.
"Sustainable Housing" is available in both digital and printed editions and the digital version had just over 1,700 downloads by the end of March.
