Programme Outlines and Overviews
Master Thesis in Business Administration 30 credits
Course content
This course offers you the opportunity to apply and deepen your knowledge through a focused research project in business administration. As the final component of your programme, the thesis enables you to demonstrate your capacity to think critically, act autonomously, and contribute meaningfully to contemporary debates that matter to both practitioners and scholars.
You will design and execute a research project that integrates theoretical insight with empirical investigation. A dedicated methodology module supports you in developing a robust research design. You will learn to formulate research questions, select appropriate methods, and reflect on the philosophical and ethical dimensions of your choices. You will receive structured supervision throughout the process. You will also participate in peer review seminars, act as opponent on another thesis, and present your own work in a final public seminar.
By completing this course, you will be able to independently plan and carry out a substantial research project. You will demonstrate the ability to apply relevant theories, justify methodological decisions, and communicate your findings clearly and persuasively. You will also be equipped to contribute to strategic discussions in organisational, policy, or academic contexts, and to pursue further research or professional roles requiring analytical depth and strategic insight.
