  • You have worked for at least five years
  • Start- and end date of your employment(s)
  • The extent of work expressed in total hours, total days, or percentages of a 1-year full time equivalent
  • The certificate(s) must be dated and signed by the employer (for example by a manager or by Human Resources)

 

At least 30 ECTS completed in higher education in the area of Social Sciences

To verify this, transcript(s) from a recognized higher education institution must be submitted that shows:

  • Which courses were taken
  • The grades of each course approved
  • The transcript(s) must be dated, signed and issued by the school

The documents can be uploaded as scans of the originally issued documents. Official translation into English is required.


Conditional admission

Students in the final year of high school are eligible for Conditional admission if you submit grades for all years of high school up to, and including, the first semester of the final year.

If conditionally admitted before completion of final year, you would be required to submit your final grades and diploma as soon as you receive them (but before the official start of the semester). You will need to maintain your grades to keep your admission.

Meeting the specific entry requirements for a programme

The specific entry requirements are Swedish courses that you must have the equivalent of from your previous studies. You can meet the specific entry requirement for the following Swedish courses with these high school courses:

Economics, World Geography, World History, and Sociology during two of the final three years.

2 full years of Physics courses in grades 10-12

GED

Please note that the GED examination does not fulfil the English language entry requirement, as it is only equivalent to the Swedish course English 5. GED is also only equivalent to Mathematics 1a, which is not sufficient for any bachelor programmes at Jönköping University.


Submitting the documents

An official transcript from a US or US affiliated international school must be sent directly from your school to our Admissions Office, by post in a sealed envelope or from official school registrar's e-mail (or through Parchment or other third-party supplier) to admissions.office@ju.se. If you have additional college studies you would like to be reviewed for specific subjects, the same process is required to submit the transcripts.


Conditional admission

Students in the final year of high school are eligible for Conditional admission if you submit grades for all years of high school up to, and including, the first semester of the final year and study plan for final semester. If conditionally admitted before completion of final year, you would be required to submit your final Diploma and complete transcript as soon as you receive them (but before the official start of the semester). You will need to complete all classes in the study plan and maintain the GPA to keep your admission.
