CeFEO helps the entrepreneurs of Dalarna

The research centre CeFEO (Centre for Family Enterprise and Ownership), has a new multi-year contract with the municipalities federation Region Dalarna, a region in central Sweden.

CeFEO and the region will work together with the issue of ownership transfers, focusing on direct training and advisory efforts, together with and for owners and owner-families in smaller companies facing ownership transfers.

“This collaboration is the first of its kind for us, with a region that has the ambition to take a comprehensive approach to ownership issues. Our hope is that our knowledge will be of benefit to the companies of the region,” said Professor Leif Melin at JIBS, who leads the efforts in Dalarna together with Annika Hall.

CeFEO is the largest research and training centre of its kind in Northern Europe, with some 30 researchers from different disciplines. It conducts research on family business, entrepreneurship and business renewal.
