Doctoral Candidate presents paper to prestigious conference

Ahmad Ghazawneh, Doctoral Candidate in Informatics at JIBS, has for the second year in row got a full research conference paper accepted at the International Conference on Information Systems, ICIS2011.

Ahmad Ghazawneh's paper is entitled "Micro-Strategizing in Platform Ecosystems: A Multiple Case Study". It is based on a study of Apple Incorporation and co-authored with Professor Ola Henfridsson from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg.

The annual International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) is the most prestigious gathering of IS academics and research-oriented practitioners in the world. The acceptance rate is below 20 per cent. ICIS attracts the top research papers in the field, and their authors, from around the world for an invaluable networking and research experience. The ICIS2011 will be held in Shanghai, China from 4 to 7 December.
