This program is taught in Swedish with courses taught in English semester 5.

Manage existing built environments and develop society with new technology and good architecture. You get the competence through an education that teaches you to participate in the concrete design of our future living environment.

The construction industry is an industry with many specializations. Today, we see many examples of exciting projects with new and challenging design that combine form and technology, and contribute to the transition to a sustainable society. There, players in the construction industry play a key role.

In the education, you learn everything from planning and design to projection, production and management. You become an engineer with knowledge in both design and technology.

During the education, you gain broad knowledge in building technology, design, planning and production. Architecture is about shaping our built environment with regard to the user's needs. As an engineer with a focus on building design, you are an important part of that process.

The program provides a broad competence to be able to work in different roles in the construction sector. The school years are organized so that you study subject courses, with a focus on theoretical understanding and knowledge of basic concepts combined with smaller application exercises. This knowledge is then translated into practical skills and abilities through project-based courses, which are based on prior knowledge from one or more subject courses. The emphasis is on planning and design.
