    On April 7, Maria Araceli Diaz Cruz defended her dissertation at the School of Health and Welfare, Jönköping University, with the dissertation "Exploring vitamin D and steroid hormone receptors - from healthy elderly to prostate cancer cells".
  • The psychosocial burden of living with food allergies


    Being allergic to food affects children and adolescents in several different ways, both they and their parents report a poorer overall health-related quality of life and a significant impact on how everyday life works. A research group with researchers from Jönköping University (JU), Karolinska Institutet and the University of Manitoba, Canada, has in a new systematic review study looked more closely at how parents and children themselves experience what it is like.
  • Great results and reviews for foundry project at JTH


    The Lean Casting project at the School of Engineering (JTH) at Jönköping University (JU) has achieved great results and received excellent reviews from the participating companies. The project ended during a seminar on 29-30 March and continued into the research profile Innovative Foundry Technology (IFT: JÖNKÖPING).

    At the end of March, the School of Engineering (JTH) at Jönköping University (JU) held a book release for a book with the title "Handbook for first-line managers", written by a group of researchers and teachers at JU in collaboration with Fagerhults Belysning and Scania.
