2 million SEK granted for research on survival and growth of new ventures

Assistant Professor Lucia Naldi has been granted funding from Riksbankens Jubileumsfond to study the survival and growth of new ventures.  

The research project is granted two millions SEK for three years and will focus on how the survival and growth of Swedish new ventures is influenced by the knowledge characteristics of the industry in which they operate, the prior knowledge and experience of the founder(s) and the ventures' knowledge management processes.

Lucia is an Assistant Professor at the Department of ESOL (Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Organization, Leadership). She received her doctorate from JIBS and holds a M.Sc. from the University of Florence.
Her main research and teaching are in the areas of entrepreneurship, international business and strategy. Her research focuses on growth and internationalization of small and young firms. She is also interested in entrepreneurship in and by media firms. Lucia's research has been published in several journal articles and book chapters.
