New doctoral thesis in Statistics
Rashid Mansoor successfully defended his doctoral thesis in Statistics on Friday 29 November.
The thesis is entitled Assessing Distributional Properties of High Dimensional Data and consists of five papers in the field of multivariate statistical analysis of high-dimensional data. Because of the wide application and methodological scope, the individual papers in the thesis target a number of different statistical issues.
Faculty examiner was Professor Helgi Tomason, University of Iceland
Examining committee consisted of Professor Björn Holmqvist, Lund University, Associate Professor Abdullah Almasri, Karlstad University, and Associate professor Lucia Naldi, JIBS.
Chairperson at the defence was Professor Thomas Holgersson, JIBS.
