Course Contents
The course conveys to students the type of knowledge in software engineering methods, Agile methods, decision making, analysis, leadership, communication, etc. which is needed in order to work as a software engineer in Agile development projects in industry. The course also gives students the ability to apply the skills that they have gained from other courses in the program in order to develop a product or service.The course includes the following elements:
- Evolution of Software Engineering: history, terminology, and cautionary tales
- A survey of Agile approaches
- A minimalist approach to software documentation
- SCRUM
- The Agile Project – delivering a working application
- Project retrospective
- Taking a software product to market
Prerequisites
General entry requirements and completed courses 60 credits in first cycle including completed courses in either Embedded and Mobile Systems (15 credits) or Android Development (9 credits), Leadership and Project Management (6 credits), and Industrial Management, Entrepreneurship and Marketing (6 credits), or the equivalent.Level of Education: Undergraduate G2F
