Course Contents
The course focuses on how to use BIM to achieve goals and values in building projects. The student is given knowledge and understanding how different BIM uses can be used in a BIM strategy and how the information and processes needed should be required and implemented in projects by using BIM Execution Plans and Information Requirements.The course includes the following elements:
- BIM-uses in Planning, Design, Construction and Operation of a building
- BIM-strategies
- BIM-manual
- Information Requirement / Information delivery
Prerequisites
Passed courses at least 90 credits within the major subject in construction engineering or civil engineering, and 15 credits in mathematics and completed courses Analyses, Simulations and Assessment systems 7,5 credits and Scientific Introduction to BIM and Sustainability 7,5 credits, or equivalent. Proof of English profiency is required.Level of Education: Master
