One Year Master Thesis in Interventions in Childhood 15 Credits
The thesis course is part of an international, interdisciplinary program, which focusses on interventions for children in need of additional support for their development and everyday functioning. The thesis is conducted as a systematic literature review in an area of relevance. The literature review can later be the basis for an empirical study, in case the student choose to study on the two year master level.Course Contents
- Methods for systematic literature reviews
- Tools to compile and communicate scientific work
- Thesis work under supervision
- Presentation/defense and opposition of thesis
Prerequisites
Bachelor’s degree of 180 ECTS credits within health and caring sciences, social sciences, educational sciences, or humanities including individual work. Also, the course Introduction to Interventions in Childhood, 15 ECTS; Theory of science and Scientific Methods, 15 ECTS; and completion or ongoing participation in Developmental Sciences and Intervention Processes, 15 ECTS. English proficiency is required.Level of Education: Master
