Intended Learning Outcomes (ILO)

Upon completion of the course the student should have the;

Knowledge and understanding

  • describe and explain human basic descriptive anatomy
  • describe and explain human basic physiology

Contents

The course content consists of a basic part about all organ systems in the human body accompanied with adequate medical terminology.

Type of instruction

The course is implemented in the form of lectures, seminars and laboratory lessons.

The teaching is normally conducted in Swedish, but can occasionally be in English.

Prerequisites

Examination and grades

The course is graded A, B, C, D, E, FX or F.

The first examination, within the course period, will be a written or an oral individual examination (stipulated at day one). Retakes will be written individual examinations.

A university lecturer serves as the course examiner.
