JU Solar Team was celebrated for its success in Australia

On 10 November JU Solar Team was celebrated at the School of Engineering for their success in Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia.

"I feel very proud when I think of this team, says Ingrid Wadskog, Managing Director and Dean at the School of Engineering, Jönköping University (JU), who participated on the roughly 3 000 kilometer journey from Darwin in the north to Adelaide in the south.

JU Solar Team became the best Swedish solar car and finished seventh overall in the competition where you cross the Australian continent. The team received warm applause, cheers and congratulations from the roughly 100 audience members in the gallery at JTH. Several team members were interviewed and told about the competition and the many challenges they faced. The presenters were Jonas Gallneby and Alexandra Pettersson from FSK Group.
