School of Health and Welfare celebrated traditionally at Pingstkyrkan
The School of Health and Welfare’s (HHJ) graduation ceremony was celebrated with pomp and circumstance in Pingstkyrkan. There was mingling, beautiful music, scholarship awards, presentation of the Pedagogical Prize as well as speeches by Catherine Legrand, Dean and Managing Director, Agneta Stenebrand, Associate Dean of Education and by Gustav Sandberg, chair of the student association Hälsosektion. The students went up on stage organized per programmes to receive the cheers of the packed room.
Nour Eddin Salem has studied to be a nurse and will be working in home care as an assistant nurse this summer. After that, he plans to work in a hospital. After three years of hard study and new experiences, he is excited to enter the real world. But above all, he takes with him the friendships he has made during his studies.

Mohammed Al-Robeay and Nour Eddin Salem, who studied the nursing programme, happily received their diplomas on the main stage at Pingstkyrkan.
“It feels very good, but also unreal, that my studies are over. It is going to be great fun to get out into the field and help patients. But you have made friends and memories for life through your studies, which you will obviously miss,” says Nour.
Big party and proud memories for HLK at Elmia
Isabella Bauer from Karlskrona and Ebba Spehling from Nyköping have studied Media and Communication Science with a specialization in Marketing Communication. They are very pleased with their achievements.
“These three years have been fantastic. So much has really happened and it has gone so fast. We remember when we stood on the HLK stairs at the Kick Off and we talked about how proud we will be at graduation three years from now. It's a quote that has stayed with us all the time: We will be so proud at graduation,” says Isabella.
“The highlight was probably the exchange programme where we both went to Brussels,” says Ebba.
A summer job at the Swedish Board of Agriculture awaits Isabella, while Ebba has applied for a few different Master's programmes.

Graduation ceremony at Spira for JIBS
The atmosphere was packed with anticipation as the JIBS graduation ceremony followed the traditional format of two separate sessions. The first session was dedicated to the Bachelor and Double Degree students, while the second session honoured the graduating Master students and students from the Civilekonom programme.
The day featured inspiring speeches, atmospheric choral singing by Jönköping University’s academic choir, JUVE, and ended with a banquet at the Stora Hotellet in the evening. During the ceremony, students who were in the top 5 per cent of their class were honoured with a place on the JIBS Honours List. The JIBS Student Association also presented the JIBS Rising Star award to three individuals for their exceptional achievements in project work or JSA activities while maintaining good academic results.
Elaine Chen went to Sweden for exchange studies at the age of 15 and then came back to study a Bachelor in International Economics at JIBS.

Elaine Chen considers her time at JIBS a memorable part of her life, where she has made new friends from all over the world.
“These have been incredibly wonderful years. It has been busy, and I have made many friends from all over the world that I will really miss now. In the autumn, I will start an internship at a company that works with exchange studies in Vienna, but before that I look forward to enjoying the Swedish summer, let's hope it comes,” says Elaine Chen.
