At the School of Education and Communication, the celebrations began with a reception in the Orangery before the students and their loved ones took their places in the JU auditorium for a beautiful ceremony filled with speeches, music, singing and lots of joy.

Nathalie Milde
Nathalie Milde from Habo is one of the now former students who celebrated her graduation. She is happy to have finished her studies, but she will miss her classmates and teachers.
"I think it has been a very good education. Many different elements have been woven together into a very good whole. I also liked the practical training, even though it was a special situation, it was rewarding. It was fun to combine theory with practice," says Nathalie Milde, who will start her job as a preschool teacher on 20 January.

A total of 148 students graduated from the School of Health Welfare from the nursing programme, the social work programme and the specialist nursing programme with a focus on district nursing. The graduation ceremony was held, as is tradition, in Pingstkyrkan in Jönköping, and the atmosphere was both festive and solemn. The ceremony included speeches interspersed with musical interludes and the awarding of scholarships, including for best academic results and best thesis.
“Finally! I've learned that you need to devote time and focus to your studies, but now I'm happy to have finished,” says Hugo Lidin, one of the new graduates who is starting his career as a nurse.
