Adventurer at Culture on Campus

Renata Chlumska is a true adventurer. During her half hour at Culture on Campus, she will give us a closer look on her extraordinary life.

Renata loves challenges. In 1999 she became the first Swedish women ever to reach the top of Mount Everest, and a lot of thing has happen since then.

In 20o2 Renata made her longest and probably toughest expedition ever. With the help of bikes and canoes she managed to get around North America - all by herself.

“It’s not about being a superhero. It’s all about your attitude and your will to reach your goals and dreams”, says Renata.

Two years ago Renata became the first Swedish women to fulfill The Seven Summits. A climb challenge were the aim is to reach the highest mountain of every continent. An adventure were Renata had to put all her skills to the test and once again show that everything is possible if you just believe.

Welcome to the University Library Wednesday March 9 at 12 p.m. and listen to Renata’s stories!
