Fashion beyond the stitch at Spring Inspiration

Spring Inspiration 2026 filled Nivå at Science Park Towers with creativity, an engaged audience, and strong student involvement. Under the theme Beyond the Stitch, Scandinavia’s largest student‑run fashion show demonstrated how fashion can be craft, art, and storytelling all at once.
On Saturday, 11 April 11, several hundered excited visitors gathered to experience a fashion show entirely created by students – from the initial idea and concept to the final runway presentation. This year’s theme highlighted fashion beyond seams and materials, allowing unexpected combinations, intricate details, and personal expressions to take centre stage.
Behind the scenes, students took on every role: project management, marketing, design, the model team, and event production. Together, they created a cohesive experience marked by collaboration, creativity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Spring Inspiration is organised by students from Jönköping International Business School's student association and also involves students from the other schools at Jönköping University. Since it was first held in 1998, the event has attracted both students and fashion interested audiences. This year’s edition was yet another example of what can emerge when students are given the opportunity to create together.
