High school students compete at JIBS - ‘You always want to win’

On Thursday morning, the JP auditorium at Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) was filled with business students from three high schools in Jönköping. They visited JIBS to be introduced to the new and unique Family Entrepreneurship Schools Tournament (FEST). Over the next few months, the students will work in teams to take on an exciting and real-life challenge from a family business.

The company, Mårdskog & Lindkvist, is challenging students to solve a sustainability and marketing challenge, focusing on sustainability and marketing, in the first edition of the competition.

FEST is aimed at second-year students in the Business Administration program. It allows them to develop their entrepreneurial and business skills by working in teams and solving a real business problem. The experience gained in the competition prepares them for future studies and careers and highlights family businesses as attractive employers.

Hear what the students and the company say about the competition and the visit to Jönköping University.
